'Travelling Poet'

 

Professional experience:  Former primary headteacher and College of Education lecturer.  Currently part-time lecturer in creative writing (Writing for Children), University of Glamorgan.

 

Writing experience:  Freelance writer, poet-in-schools and INSET provider.  Writes poetry for adults and children, children's stories, early reading books and books for teachers which highlight artwork, language and display ideas.  Has had poems broadcast on the BBC. 

 

Conference experience:  Arvon Foundation, University of Bristol Education, Dartington House, Dillington House and various education authorites.

 

Residential experience:  Pearse House (Lending Our Minds Out), Ogmore Centre Trust, various libraries and schools with combined poetry/art/music workshop activities.
